I've had a small Visions saucepan for over 25 years. It was great, unfortunately, a few weeks ago, someone forgot to turn off the heat when the pan was on the stove. Consequently, the pan was totally scorched, and the only way to remove the burnt residue was to use a pumice stone. Unfortunately, this left some scratches in the glass.
After some research, I discovered that even minute scratches on the cookware can greatly increase the risk of a possible shattering of the glass. Needless to say, that alarmed me, and I was not willing to take that risk (A Google search can bring up details about this). With that in mind, I decided to purchase this set. Surprisingly, it was not as easy to find as I thought it would be, and it was much more expensive, too.As. I purchased this item for my Farberware Yosemite Stainless Steel Percolator. The plastic top that came with the percolator had long since deteriorated. It was yellow and cracked, and had apparently shrunk, as it no longer fit the lid and just lifted/fell out. I was about ready to toss the percolator due to this, until I found the Fitz-All Replacement Percolator Top.
This is an attractive glass top, that fits my percolator like it was made for it. It has been used about once or twice a week for almost 6 months now, and is still in like-new condition.
Why doesn't the percolator come standard with this top? It has greatly extended the life of my percolator. I am a very happy camper!ASIN:B00005NCWQ Farberware Classic Stainless Steel Yosemite Coffee Percolator. This worked very well for me. I use an 'plain' (no soap) wire something (whatever I can find) to clean my grandfather's precious cast iron pans, (I inherited the ones he used in his youth on cattle drives and was very particular about how they were treated) and lately I've only been able to find the rather thin, flimsy wire pads in the grocery store. But, I happened to look on Amazon and lo and behold here was Addie's 4' round! I used it yesterday: it is thick enough to not burn your fingers (in rubber gloves) when cleaning with salt over a low heat (the way I was taught to do it!) Whoever Addie is, my grandfather is smiling down on her as she knows what she's doing making these!

Best cleaning my grandfather's beloved two cast iron pans have had. These are almost beautiful! I was uncertain if I would even like the blue tint, but it really adds to the beauty of these pie dishes. I chose these over pyrex because the size of these are a tad smaller so they will fit easily in my apartment size oven without crowding (but still offered a 1 7/8' depth and 9' across not including the handles). The handles make it easier to grasp the pans.
Pokemon art academy 3ds. You can take it directly from the freezer to the oven & use in the microwave, too. They are made in Brazil where I guess the hint of blue might be from minerals in the sand or material used to make the glass.
